Adams T.-Peria by Persian

While out on lecture tours in the country, I have been asked many questions about the manners, customs, and pecularities of my own people.

These questions I have found it very difficult to answer in the little volume, “Darkness and Daybreak”, so as to give anything like a clear picture either of the people oor the country in the brief time that I had to answer them under such circumstances, and, hence this book which I now present to the public, with the earnest hope that it may find a welcome.
